Warm and hearty on a cold winter morning. Take your favorite baking apples – we used 5 granny smith, cut into wedges with an apple cutter. combine apples, 1/2 C spiced apple cider, 1tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp honey in a pot on the stovetop. I left the skins on to add fiber and nutrients! Bring all ingredients to a boil and then reduced to simmer for 15-20 minutes. Use a fork to mash now soften apples, or puree in a blender. Ready to serve or store!

What Kids can help With

Using the apple cutter, measuring spiced cider and honey and mashing the final product!
